This maxim literally means that “delegates must not delegate.” This maxim does not apply where
o The sub-delegation is authorized the contract between the parties.
o It is authorized law.
o It is effected with the principals knowledge.
o It is authorized trade usage or custom. o It is reasonably necessary for       performance.

o In cases of emergency.
