Steps of marketing research

  1. Define the research objective/purpose

This involves defining the information and the ………….. to be made. E.g. what goods and services does consumer require?

2.       Gathering the secondary data

There is the already compiled data from journals, magazines, textbooks etc

3.       Gather the primary data

This is the raw data and supplements the secondary data

4.       Develop the instrument of gathering information

e.g. developing a questionnaire that will be used to collect data
